I’m a rising junior studying Cognitive Science and Asian American Studies at UCLA.
Originally from Maryland, I eagerly came to Los Angeles to study at UCLA, where I thought I would continue on an engineering path. Not wanting to sacrifice my creative side (and keep grueling over CS projects), I pivoted to Cognitive Science, a major that I truly felt aligned with and encapsulated everything I was interested in.
In my freshman year, I had the opportunity to join 2 incredible organizations, Creative Labs and Nova for Good. I’m delighted to say that these communities have helped grow and flourish in so many ways — as a designer, learner, and creative thinker.
At the heart of what I do, I hope to uplift the people around me, whether designing for social good, sharing self-love messages through my stationery products, or fostering a passionate community of creatives.
